December 10, 2003 Bank of Piraeus announces that three shareholders of ETBA with participation in its share capital from 0,00001% to 0,24%, submitted an application today at the Athens One-Member Court of First Instance, asking the postponement of the merger process between Piraeus Bank and ETBA and the issue of a temporary injunction, which prohibits the approval of the merger until the discussion of this application on 15.12.2003. The issue of the temporary injunction was rejected.
