The new pioneering and prize-winning e-payments service for all, winbank easypay, was launched by Piraeus Bank during a press conference held on Monday, 14 November 2005.
The winbank easypay service is the first e-payments and collections service in the Greek market destined for all consumers as well as businesses and organisations.
Businesses and organizations are given the opportunity to offer their customers a new and easy way of remote payments. All consumers, whether they are Piraeus Bank customers or not, may pay all their debts and obligations from a single access point.
The service is available on the internet (www.easypay.gr) or via phone (18 28 38 and 210 32 88 000).
With winbank easypay, Piraeus Bank is the only Greek and one of the few European banks offering such an e-payments service with pioneering features such as:
- any consumer, even non customers of Piraeus Bank, may pay their obligations to a multitude of businesses and organizations;
- any business and organization may directly collect their receivables from customers, subscribers and members by simply signing a cooperation contract with Piraeus Bank, without the need for any investment;
- payments may be made via internet or over the phone without the need for any prior registration;
- all consumers may find all the businesses and/or organizations, to which they have obligations, gathered in a single access point;
- every easypay contracted associate has their own individual presence in set of pages totally customized to their needs.

- recurrent payments on specific dates;
- definition of "friendly names" for each payment, address, etc.
