The acquisition of the 80% of the share capital of the Serbian Bank Atlas Bank by Piraeus Bank was completed today, thus finalizing the deal that had been signed on the 17th February 2005. The acquisition cost amounted to €19.5 mn.
Through this acquisition, Piraeus Bank Group starts its operations in the Serbian market through a network of 11 branches in 3 cities.
