"GREEN Banking" Branch a new Piraeus Bank initiative

Today, February 25th 2008, the operation of the first Piraeus Bank "GREEN Banking" environmental branch began. This is the first "green" bank branch in Greece.

The "GREEN Banking" branch is yet another Piraeus Bank initiative in the sector of green entrepreneurship in Greece, and it is part of the environmental policy of Piraeus Bank, as this is expressed and implemented through the Group's Corporate Social Responsibility actions.

The "GREEN Banking" branch constitutes an organised point of information for the public, in the framework of the Piraeus Bank Corporate Social Responsibility, regarding the possibilities laypersons and businesses have to improve their environmental behaviour, to obtain information on green entrepreneurship and on the "green" banking products and services that Piraeus Bank has designed for this purpose. No transactions will be carried out at the Branch, and visitors who wish to obtain Piraeus Bank products or services will be referred to the corresponding Manager of the Branch located in the area of each one of these potential customers.

The branch in question is located on 18, Panepistimiou str., Athens, and it is open during banking hours.
