A new service, unprecedented for Greece, is now available from Piraeus Bank: the "Piraeus Customer Protection" service.
How it works:In case of loss or theft of customer personal and/or financial information, anywhere in the world, Piraeus Bank is always there to provide customers with a solution to their problem. Customers have to simply call the special service line 21 11 20 20 20 .
The benefits:- Cancellation of cards issued by any Bank
- Cancellation of Piraeus Bank cards (credit/ debit) and immediate dispatch of new cards via courier service in Greece and abroad
- Screening of all transaction performed with lost cards to prevent fraud
- Immediate cash transfer (free of commission) in Greece and abroad
- Privileged advisory support on actions to restore or retrieve personal information and items (e.g. ID card, mobile phone)
Additionally, wallet & shopping protection:
- Cover against undesirable debits or cash withdrawals that may occur after the loss or theft of the customer's credit or debit card
- Protection for goods purchased using the stolen card
- Refund of the personal items' replacement cost, such as personal documents, mobile phone and keys.
