Piraeus Bank completes the acquisition of controlling stake in Trastor REIC

Further to the announcement on 21 January 2022, Piraeus Financial Holdings S.A. informs the investment community that its subsidiary Piraeus Bank S.A. has complet-ed the acquisition of a 52.0% shareholding in Trastor Real Estate Investment Compa-ny (“REIC”) S.A. from WRED LLC, a company affiliated with Värde Partners, after re-ceiving the required approvals, as well as the consent of the Hellenic Financial Sta-bility Fund. The cash consideration paid, amounted to €98mn (€1.25 per share).
