Recycling

Piraeus Group monitors and manages the impacts it has on the environment and calculates its annual “carbon footprint”. It sets targets to reduce emissions from its operations, lending, and investments.

Recycling

Recycling programs at Piraeus Bank are a key component of its ongoing and systematic efforts to improve environmental performance. Recycling bins for paper, ink cartridges, batteries, and light bulbs are installed across all building facilities, and corresponding collection programs are in place. In addition, within the framework of the “New Way of Working” (NWoW) project, recycling infrastructure is being expanded to include plastic, glass and metal, further strengthening waste segregation and recycling practices.
